Botani
Botani was a Case Study that I did with a group while in School at Denver University. The goal of this project was to create an application that would help plant owners — new or experienced — keep their leafy friends alive, at ease. This application included features like taking a photo of a problem area on a plant to identify the issue and provide information to solve it, or scheduling watering/care times for notifications to keep the user on top of care.
The Login
Upon downloading the application, the login screen would appear where the user has the option to log in, or create a new account if they were a first time user. Ideally we would add an option to sign in with social media.
On boarding
After a new user joins for the first time, there is an on boarding process to quickly and thoroughly walk the user through the app and everything it has to offer. This is presented in slides with a progress bar on the bottom, and an option to skip.
Scheduling
One of the features that our team was the most proud of, was the scheduling process to set up watering and care reminders for plants that you own. This way the user doesn’t have to remember when their plants need a little extra love, because Botani does it for them.
