I waited tables for some time in North Carolina where I learned a lot about customer relations and how to communicate with and serve whoever walked through the door. I loved the social interaction and thrived off of making the guests days a little brighter. I ultimately left this job when I was offered the position with my current employer. This job gave me the ability to communicate cross-functionally, and I am forever grateful for that skill.

Taking on the duties of the chef when he wasn’t present trained me to be focussed and precise in high pressure situations.
